Background: Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a genetic neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by marked hyperphagia and morbid obesity, together with hormone deficiencies, abnormal behaviour in relation to food (obsessive thinking, food foraging, stealing, etc.).
